Overview :

Our Temperature Control Trainer is designed to demonstrate the user basic principles of Temperature Control Loop. This trainer simulates a typical temperature control process loop having constant flow of cooling water. This trainer provides an excellent platform for getting hands on experience in all aspects of temperature control using microprocessor based PID controller. The design consists of industrial grade process equipment to exhibit a realistic working environment of a standard industrial process of temperature control.

The RTD connected to process tank senses the temperature of water and gives the signal to the controller. The controller on receiving the flow readings and according to provided set point gives the required output to solid state relay which further varies the water temperature by adjusting the output of electric heater. All this operations are done through a customized SCADA software provided with the trainer. User can perform the experiment for different flow rate of water by manually adjusting the flow through rotameter.
