Teg Contactor

FenixAR has the requisite design strength and expertise to model and design TEG Contactor columns (tri-ethylene glycol dehydration systems for hydrocarbon processing) with stringent process guarantees.

Saturated gas is fed to the first column where lean Triethylene Glycol removes moisture to bring it to the level of 10 ppm by using packed bed counter current operation. The column works as an absorber and Fenix structured packing FXPack-SM is used for efficient moisture removal. The exit TEG, after absorbing moisture is regenerated using two columns - Stripper and Regenerator. In the stripper, moisture is removed from TEG by heating, usually employing a re-boiler. The moisture in TEG is further removed by recycling small quantity of dry gas generated in the first column.
