The 32932 TAGZyme pQE Vector Set by Qiagen is designed for the high-level expression and tag-removal of His-tagged proteins in E. coli. This vector set enables the production of recombinant proteins with an N-terminal His tag that can be efficiently cleaved using the TAGZyme system, ensuring native protein recovery without additional residues.
The set includes three expression vectorspQE-2, pQE-3, and pQE-4which differ in their multiple cloning sites (MCS) for flexible cloning options. These vectors feature a strong T5 promoter, allowing for tight regulation and inducible expression. The His-tag facilitates efficient purification via Ni-NTA affinity chromatography, and after purification, the TAGZyme enzyme system can precisely remove the His tag, leaving a protein with its native sequence.
