A Straight Duct is a straight section of air duct used in HVAC ducting systems to carry air from one point to another without any change in direction.

Purpose
Straight ducts are used to:

Transport supply air from the air handling unit (AHU) or air conditioner

Carry return air back to the system

Maintain smooth airflow in ventilation systems

Galvanized Iron (GI) sheet

Rectangular Straight Duct Most commonly used in buildings.

Round Straight Duct Used where better airflow efficiency is required.
