Here the solar collector makes the high temp high pressure steam (freon) much higher temp, much higher pressure. In short, the solar collector helps the compressor to make the high temp high pressure steam (freon) much higher in temp and pressure. So the solar air conditioner can save electricity and increase the energy efficiency when cooling.
