Self Centering Type Rotators Gender: Unisex

Our SCR (Self Centering Rotator) is a versatile piece of equipment specially suited for manipulation of shells or any cylindrical component for positioning or processing. Special care has been taken while selecting drive elements and other components, to ensure trouble free service and optimum machine availability for production. Sturdiness is the key word since these equipments will be going generally to fabrication shops. Rollers are of composite construction. On precision machined hub PU coating is done. To reduce losses due to friction, rollers are supported on anti-friction ball bearings. Because of this mechanical efficiency is high. Shell weight is shared by powered unit and idler unit but driving torque is provided by the drive unit. Idler roller purely supports the shell / vessel. PU roller ensures high load bearing capacity and positive drive as well as no marks on the shell. Lead screw with LH / RH thread helps moving the roller brackets in and out equally making it self centered. The resultant end thrust during loading is taken care by using taper roller bearings of adequate capacity. The protection guards over the lead screw prevent flux & slag falling on them and causing premature damage to lead screw or nut otherwise there are possibilities of lead screw jamming.
