Key Features
Rubopor
A Dinitroso Pentamethylene Tetramine compound containing a stabiliser specially developed and blended in the main constituent to give the smooth working and excellent cell structures in the finished products.
Advantages
- Because of its ideal formulation, Rubopor ensures higher gas evolution, which results in better expansion
- Through Rubopor begins to release gas in rubber mixes at about 120oC it does not do so completely until the normal curing temperature are reached. So it can be used with out the risk of premature gas formation. By controlling the degree of cure and specific pressure per unit area, uniform cell structure can be obtained.
- The specially developed stabiliser used in the formulation of Rubopor helps its blowing effect. It disperses the material perfectly well and helps mixing and ultimate uniformity in the cell structure. The fine particle size of Rubopor enables ready and uniform mixing with the rubber compounds, which again ensures the formation of uniform cell structure.
- Rubopor does not discolour rubber compounds
- DNPT type compounds usually produce a characteristic odour. In order to reduce this odour, a specially prepared stabilizer is added to the actual constituent of Rubopor. The stabilizer thus reduces the odor to a great extent.
Application
Rubopor can be used in the production of open cell as well as closed cell structures, with almost all types of natural rubbers and synthetic polymers. Rubopor is specially suited for manufacturing synthetic, spongy, soft footwear and various cellular rubber articles. The dosage would normally vary from cell structure required int he finished product.
