Slip Ring Induction Motors will be used with external resistance connected in rotor circuit for starting purpose and running purpose.
Conventional type fixed 15% buffer is suing in order to avoid current kicks due to the variable loads.
With ELTECH ENGINEERING Rotors starters .. we offer variable buffer in rotor circuit which resistance vary from 2% to 15%. The variation of resistance is again purely depend on the slip of the motor.
With this future of ELTECH ENGINEERING Soft starters once can limit the heat loss which was happening in 15% buffer ( this can be seen at fixed buffer in terms of hot and fumes).
The variation Dynamics:
Sudden load increased >>> Speed reduces >>>SLIP Increases >> ROTOR Frequency Increases(Fr=S*Fs) >>ELTECH Resistance Increases>>> Motor torque increase and kick current limited >>Speed increased to rated condition>> Motor reached in steady mode and running continuously.
The above variation dynamics will be happen for every kick load and the response is very quick as there are no external feedback mechanism involved.
