Rod Mill - 900mm To 2100mm Diameter, High Torque Asynchronous Motor Drive, Pneumatic Clutch System, Low-speed Operation, Enhanced Lubrication System

The Rod Mill is widely used for grinding various kind of ores of rocks in metal of non-metal mining and building material industry.
The main part of this Rod Mill is a shell for low-speed rotation, which is horizontally assembled on two large size bearings. Our Rod Mills with shell diameter between 900mm and 2100mm are high pull-in torque Y series using JR asynchronous motors, and large size rod mills use professional mill motors, TDMK low-speed synchronous motors. These motors drive rotor parts by single reduction gearing down using pneumatic frictional clutches and small gear connections. Asynchronous startup of motor and machine is implemented because of pneumatic frictional clutch and startup conditions are improved for lower initial power. These Rod Mills with shell diameter above 2700mm use totally enclosed type 120o self-aligning a rockera bearings, high lead, low tin and low hardness Babbitt and cooling copper water pipes are used. The bearings have static pressure structure and are lubricated by high voltage and low voltage joint lubrication stations.
