Casings : Steel fabricated duly stress relieved or cast iron,
inoculated for grain refinement to prevent seepage of oil.
Gearing : The gear and pinions are double helical designed to obtain
gradual application of load on each teeth to limit specific friction
and to give the tooth base a good stiffness. The teeth cutting is done
maintaining span measurement over teeth the pinions are integral or
alloy steel shells shrink fitted onto forged shafts.
Lubrication : Lubrication lines to bearings and oil splash line onto
gears are provided. External lubrication unit comprising of gear pump,
filters, heat exchanger can also be supplied.
