Pvc Cable Coating Extruder

This is single screw Extruder fitted with nitride hardened screw/barrel set, heaters, hopper, Helical gear box, AC induction motor with inverter panel for speed control, blowers, Re-circulating jacket, cross head unit, payout stand with mechanical controls, water trough, haul-off/puller with DC motor drive & thyristor panel, winder & Control panel for full machine.
The bare conductor is centrally fed through the cross head and the Extruder applies continuous coating of PVC over the conductor and the coated wire/cable is passed through water trough to coo it and is hauled off to a winder to collect the finished wire/cable. After producing individual wires for multi cored cable, these individual wires are fed in groups again through the cross head and jacketed cable is produced- 2-core, 3-core, 4-core, etc.
If linear marking is required on the wire/cable in separate colour, then another jockey Extruder is placed near the main extruder to apply this marking in different colour on the wire/cable.
