Pulse Controlled Rectifier

We manufacture, export, distribute and supply Pulse Rectifier to our clients in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, India. These Pulse Rectifier provides pulsed current (Peak Current) superimposed on a base level (base current) to get best results of anodizing process. The pulsation allows the surface to recover from the momentary high current heating effects and same time keeps the surface temperature lower. The pulsed current occurs many times a second which allows the coating begin uniformly and quickly. Pulse power supply increases the production with increased current density from peak current pulsation.
Pulsed current can be advantageously used for anodizing aluminum and alloys where the rate of oxidation is increased, danger of burning avoided and also alloys that are difficult to anodize also could be anodized.
During the pulsed current (high level current amplitude) oxide formation occurs, which is of such short duration that little oxide dissolution results. The interval between high pulses presumably allows the work to cool.
Even if the working is carried out with the same average value of current, the oxide quality is better than one obtained with a conventional rectifier; as proved by the tests on abrasion, efficiency and corrosion.
It is possible (without disadvantages) to work with a current density higher than with conventional rectifiers, thus the use of pulse rectifiers gives the benefits of 20-25% time saving compared with the conventional ones.
