COMPOSITION:

Each uncoated tablet

Progesterone B.P. 100
mg. (Natural & Micronised)

Progesterone B.P. 200
mg. (Natural & Micronised)

PHARMACOLOGY:

SUGEST contains Progesterone
(Natural & Micronised), which is identical both structurally and
biologically to natural Progesterone. Micronisation process (decreasing
particle size) enables rapid absorption and improves bioavailability.

DOSAGE:

  Recommended dose of SUGEST is 200-300 mg
  daily once or twice in divided doses.

  SUGEST 200-400mg in divided doses is administered
  in case of Repeated Abortions.

  
  

  
  
  
  
• SUGEST 200-300 mg for 10 days, from 17th to 26th
  day of periodic cycle for benign mastopathy.
• For oocyte donation program, SUGEST 100 mg twice
  daily from the day of transfer till pregnancy is confirmed which can
  be increased to 600 mg/day and continued upto 12th week of pregnancy.
• SUGEST 200-600 mg per day in two or three in takes
  is recommended for in vitro fertilization (IVF) or embryo transfer.
  
• SUGEST 100-200 mg daily for 14 days from 14th - 28th
  day for pre-menstrual syndrome.

Doses can be modified depending on the indication
and requirement of patients.

ADMINISTRATION:

SUGEST can be administered
orally, vaginally or rectally.

ORAL ROUTE: With a glass
of water far from meals.

VAGINAL ROUTE: Insert
the tablet deep into the vagina. Vaginal route represents an alternative
route in the following conditions:

In case of Threatened Abortions due to proven luteal
insufficiency.

In IVF cycles to supplement luteal phase.

Progesterone substitution for ovary deprived women.

PRECAUTIONS:

SUGESTshould be taken far from meal times, preferably in the evening at bedtime.
SUGESTshould be administered with caution in patients with severe renal insufficiency.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Drowsiness (or) dizziness may occur 1-3 hrs after ingestion. Interruption of menses.
Intra Menstrual bleeding.
