A piston ring is a ring on a piston sealing the gap between the piston and the cylinder wall. Piston rings are made of cast iron alloy or high strength steel and reinforced with tin, copper or chrome. The rings have to withstand temperatures of up to 300 degree Celsius inside an internal combustion engine and facilitate heat dissipation. Our products are made to help heat dissipation, seal combustion gases for improved engine power and better fuel efficiency.

There are three basic objectives of piston ring and these are performed by different rings in piston ring set. The primary ring also called the compression ring prevents the gas from leaking out during the combustion process. The secondary ring assists the first ring in keeping the pressure intact. The third ring known as oil ring helps in keeping the engine cool by directing oil around it. Each of these three rings work together to give the combined functionality.
