Band Wound Technique
The pipes are manufactured by the Band wound technique wherein bands of Chopped Strand Mat and Woven Roving are impregnated with unsaturated polyester resin and wound in a definite angle to achieve circumferential and axial strengths.
Filament Wound Technique
The pipes are manufactured by the Filament winding technique wherein glass rovings are impregnated with unsaturated polyester resin and wound in a definite angle to achieve circumferential and axial strengths. Prior to filament winding, a chemical resistance layer of 2.5 mm thickness is built using bands of CSM impregnated with the same resin. For special fluids the chemical resistance layer is built using polyester mats.
