Typical Construction: Rockwool Pipe Sections are particularly suitable for the insulation of small / large diameter heating and ventilation pipe work. It is suitable for any small/large curved surfaces or cutting to fit over irregular shaped surfaces, such as valves.
Installation: Rockinsul pipe sections are wrapped round the pipe, with FSK facing (vapor barrier) (optional) on the outside surface. Pieces of closely butted pipe sections are joined together by lacing the adjacent edges of the wire. The insulation is usually held in place by metal bands/adhesive or a combination of the two.
