OD mounted split frame pipe cutting & beveling machines are designed to part, bevel, single point,counterbore, and face flanges on large diameter pipes from 1 to 84 inches O.D.(DN25-2100).
Named for its ability to split for mounting to the O.D. of inline pipe, the GF series is constructed with a bigger cross section, larger gear sets and massive hardened steel components.
This type machine will produce precision lathe finishes using a precise cold cutting process, which minimizes the risk of explosion on gas and petrochemical lines and eliminates a heat affected zone.

The stationary ring is fitted with adjustable clamping legs that are tightened to hold the machine on the outside surface of the pipe. It has an inner track, or raceway, equipped with bearings. The rotating ring travels on the bearing system, moving the tool slides around the
pipe to perform the cutting action. The O.D. tracking slides feed into the pipe 0.0026a (0.07mm) per trip.
