O.S.A-DFT:

O.S.A-DFT
is a superior agent for polyester dyeing.

SALIENT
FEATURES:

1. O.S.A-DFT is a highly efficient levelling agent in the dyeing of poyester
with disperse dyes.

2.
Addition of a small amount of O.S.A-DFT in the dyebath gives very level
dyeings by preventing dyestuff from rushing on the fibre.as the dyeing is
already level,it does not require additional time for a migration phase.this
leads to considerable savings in time and energy costs.

3.
It works well with problem dyes by avoiding dyestuff patches.

4.
Addition of O.S.A-DFT to dyebath does not cause a drop in strenght-unlike
some other levelling agents.

5.
Suitable for the dyeing fo piece goods,yarn,slubbing and fibre.

6.
Due to its superior levelling action,dyeing time at 130 deg. C can be
minimised,thus reducing formation of oligomers.

APPLICATIONS:

DYEING:
The required quantity of well diluted O.S.A-DFT is added to the dyebath set
with dispersing agent and pH stabiliser.run for few mins.,well diluted duesyuff
is next added and the machine run as per set programe.

For
deep shades: 1 gm/l O.S.A-DFT

with:
1 gm/l dispersing agent

and:
0.5 gm/l pH stabiliser.

Dye
for 20-30 mins.after attaining 130 deg. C

For
pale shades and problem dyes: 2-3 gm/l JAYLEVEL-DFT

with:
1 gm/l dispersing agent

and:
0.5 gm/l pH stabiliser.

Dye
for 10-12 mins. after attaining 130 deg. C

STRIPPING:

O.S.A-DFT
in higher concentrations ahs the effect of reducing the depth of the dyeing and
so can be used for correction of faulty dyeings or lightening the shade of a
normal dyeing.

For
depth reduction: 5-8 gm/l O.S.A-DFT depending on the original depth and
reduction required.run at 130 deg.C for 30 mins. in long liquors.preliminary
trials required.wash thoroughly hot and cold.
