Ncs Pumps

Applications :
* HMP NCS pumps are used for abrasive or corrosive slurries, sewage and water, viscous and contaminated liquids containing fibrous materials, soft solids in suspension, sludgea s and pulpy materials in sugar factories sewage pumping stations, chemicals, fertilizer, paper and pulp, cement and steel industries.

Constructional Features :
* NCS pumps are single stage, end suction solid handing pumps.
* They are with back pullout design and some of the models generally confirmed to DIN 24252 standard. These are available with quick handling inspection cover as an optional feature.

Casing :
* Split readily and is of the ring volute type with a large area to permit free passage of solids in suspension.
* The specification is subject to change without notice.

Impeller :
* Single end suction type, two vane enclosed impeller are provided with back vanes which maintain low stuffing box pressure and balancing of axial thrust.

Shaft :
* Usually made of high tensile steel, St. steel shafts can be supplied upon request.

Sealing :
* Shaft sealing is done by water or grease.
* Mechanical seal is provided in the same housing upon request.

Bearing Housing :
* A very liberal bearing span to impeller overhang ratio provided.
* This ensures minimum shaft deflection and long life of gland packing.

Direction Of Rotation :
* Clockwise when seen from driving end.
