Monel 400 Wire is resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking in the distinctive conditions. Moreover, it is superior corrosion resistant in reducing conditions, though bad in oxidizing mediums. It cannot be used in oxidizing acids like nitric acid and nitrous.
