Working Process:

- A Ribbon Blender consists of a horizontal trough with a central shaft and a helical ribbon agitator
- Mixing results from the turbulence induced by counteracting Ribbons
- There are two sets of Counter acting Ribbons - Outer Ribbon, Inner Ribbon
- Both ribbons mounted on the same shaft
- Ribbons have close Trough clearance which provides a region of high shear force near the wall thereby achieving both bulk blending and dispersive mixing
- Designed in such a way that along with vertical movement, material to be mixed will have to and fro motion
- Diametric size of the ribbon keeps some proportion with the volume of the vessel so that the power required to drive the machine will be less
- The ribbon causes all the material to circulate using only 5% of the power needed by the turbine
- The machine is manufactured in the combination of Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
- The product to machine contact parts is in Stainless Steel and remaining is in Mild Steel to reduce the total cost of the machine
