This oils are manufactured from a highly refined mineral base oils which is incorporated With detergent, antiwear, dispersant, V.I. improver & TBN booster additives making it suitable to meet the ever increasing demands of modern medium & high speed DG Engines Advantages: These oils have a higher TBN values initially & also retains the same for longer run as compared compared to other conventional to other conventional API CD level oils to neutralize completely the acid formed during the combustion process. This will give a long term protection against corrosion to the critical engine parts. It has an excellent detergency action which gives protection against deposition of soot & heavy contaminants It has a superior thermal stability & resistance to oxidation which improves the oil life Oil Change Criteria :- As large quantity of oil is used in DG Sets / Engines, It is inconvenient & expensive to Change the oil at regular period. So it is important to check basicity of oil, which gives idea about the satisfactory performance level of the oil. As a general guide, total base Number should be numerically not less than the five times percentage of sulphur level Of the fuel being used.
