Quenching Oils - High Performance Thermally Stable Oil | Medium To High Speed Quenching, Rapid Quenching Rate, Excellent Oxidation Stability

Our high performance quenching oil are thermally stable, high performance medium to high speed quenching oil with a high flash point and very low viscosity. It is blended with low sulphur base stocks and excellent oxidation and thermal stability. It is fortified with special additives, which imparts accelerated quenching of components.

The quenching oil series have been formulated to impart medium to high speed quenching, with good wetting, penetration and hardening properties. It has a shorter vapour base with long sump life. They are entirely unaffected by contaminations from salt bath quenching processes.

APPLICATION:
SPECIALTY OIL 70 is a special quality quenching oil added with special additives in order to give oxidation and rusting protection, rapid quenching rate, high temperature stability, deposit preventive ability etc.. It is used whenever the nature of steel, the size and the shape of the parts, or other conditions make it is difficult to get satisfactory results with conventional quenching oils, and also when steel parts packed so tightly in baskets that interior does not benefit from full circulation of the quenching oil.
