Physical Properties - It is generally white coloured, amorphous, cryptocrystalline and compact minerals with conchoidal fracture. Hardness is 3.5 to 4.5 and sp.gr.is 3.0 to 4.8. Luster is vitreous or pearly in crystals but dull in massive and earthy varieties.
