All liquid Resin Properties are tested as per IS:6746,though actual value can vary within standard tolerances as per IS:6746. Gel times are tested with catalyst (MEKP-50%) 1.5% and Accelerator (Cobalt Octate 2%)1.5%. Gel times for SMC/DMC Resin are tested with BPO 2% paste. It is advised that the Resin should be stored at temperatures below 30 degree C in tightly closed containers. Exposure to sunlight should be avoided to prevent the Resin from pre mature gelation, even when no catalyst is present. The standard Packing sizes are 25kg plastic Jerry Cans and 200kg M.S.
