The cutting head of laser cutting machine consists of: nozzle, focusing lens and focusing tracking system.

The form and size of nozzle have great influence on cutting quality.There are three kinds of nozzles: parallel type, collecting type and cone type.

Focusing lens
Using the energy of laser beam for cutting, the original beam from laser beam must be focused through lens to form the light spot with high energy density.

The medium long focal lens is suitable for thick plate cutting, and the stability of the tracking system interval is low, but the laser output power is high.On the contrary, the short focal lens is only suitable for thin plate cutting under D3. The short focal lens has strict requirements on the interval stability of the tracking system, but its requirements on laser output power can be greatly reduced.

Laser cutting machine focusing tracking system is generally composed of focusing cutting head and tracking sensor system.The cutting head consists of light focusing, water cooling, blowing and mechanical adjustment parts;The sensor is composed of a sensor element and an amplification control part.According to different tracking systems of sensor elements, there are two types of tracking systems, one is capacitive sensor tracking system, also known as non-contact tracking system.The other is inductive sensor tracking system, also known as contact tracking system.
