Lab Screw Extruder

Lab Screw Extruder is Twin screw Co-rotating Extruder machine fitted with 2 nos. 25mm dia. twin screws driven by AC induction motor, Inverter panel for speed control, helical gear drive with special bearings, heaters, cooling ajckets, hopper, feeder, segmented barrel, pelletising die, control panel & instrumentation, etc.
The machine is designed for precise operation and provided with closed loop control panel and instruments including Melt Pressure transducer with PID controller, etc. to produce precision product coming out from the machine. The digital panel has indications for all important parameters like motor current, voltage, screw speed, melt pressure, temperature, etc. for record.
This machine could be used for compounding and mixing of polymers, as well as for food processing applications like precooked flours & starch, texturisation of soy proteins, etc. It can be used for product trials or small scale production with hourly output rate 20-50 Kg/hour depending on type of material.
Since screws and barrel are modular construction, you can vary the screw geometry and processing length to suit the processing task.
The die can be replaced with any shape as per your requirement and need.
