Glass vessels:

Jacketed and non-jacketed borosilicate glass vessels available in 2L, 5L
and 10L working volume the top lid, sparger, baffles, vent condenser
and metal
Part made from SS316L, electro-polished.
Rushton turbine, 3-blade segment impellers, micro-sparger and other
process specific accessories available.

Gas supply System:

Air, O2 & CO2 inlets supported with flow control valve, pressure gauge
For adjusting gas flow rate. Pressure reducing valve and non-return valves
Ensure safety of the glass vessel.
Air and O2 enrichment provided for microbial system, additional CO2
Supply system provided for cell culture system. Mass Flow controllers
(MFC s)optional.

Temperature Control:

Magnetically coupled pump is used for circulation of water for temperature
control in the vessel.
The thermostat provided with PID controlled Electric heater for heating
and solenoid valve for cooling water supply. Cooling fingers provided for
Single valve vessels.

Control System:

PLC based control platform, 5.7 touch screen color HMI-easy to operate
Interface, custom built screens for setting, viewing parameters, trends.

Agitator Control:

Compact 0.64 Nm & 1.39 Nm servo drive and VFD used for rpm control in
the range 50 to 1200 rpm.

Foam Control:

Conductance type foam sensor inserted from vessel lid. Antifoam fed with
the help of time spacer controlled ON/OFF peristaltic pump.

PH Control:

Gel filled, pressurized PH sensor inserted from top lid of the vessel.
3x Peristaltic pumps installed on the control cabinet for acid, alkali and
Antifoam.
Pumps are controlled with time spacer PID controller.

DO2 Control:

Polarographic DO2 sensor inserted from vessel lid. DO2 set point cascaded
With agitator, O2 valve for DO2 control.

SCADA System:

Provided with every system. Process control, data login and graphs can be
viewed and printed for record purpose.
