Laboratory Water Bath 

Laboratory Water Bathsare highly needed equipment in every lab for research purposs. It is used in keeping the component warm with the help of boiling water and helps to maintain the temperature for a longer period. These can be used in melting components, warming, heating the components indirectly, for testing, facilitating chemical reactions in a heated environment. It can also be used to incubate the cells in case of biological research, dissolve a solution, heat a flammable solution safely, and not cause an accident.

Water baths usually have 2 panels, the external panel, which has the plugins, Analog or Digital meters to set the temperatures and times; the internal panel contains a stainless-steel pan that holds the water and a disk holding testing beakers. The heat is usually transmitted through the electric resistor placed below the disk holding beakers.

How to use

• Plugin the wire and switch on
• Pour the water to the desired level as over-pouring water may cause overflow when the water is heated.
• Set the desired temperature.
• When the water arrives at the desired temperature, put it in the beaker, which needs to be heated.
• Close the lid as it might keep the water from getting evaporated, and do not let the external participles get inside.
• Set the holding hours until the elements are needed to be heated.
• Check with the thermostat to see if the temperature is maintained constant
