The machine is designed for rolling Splines with incremental type of rolls. The work is held between centers and rolled by two synchronized rotating tools. The splines are rolled on the work piece after completion of one revolution of rolls

By this process better accuracy of work piece is achieved. The rolling process improves wear and fatigue properties of the work piece. The machine is suitable for rolling helical splines (with 1A helix angle and tapered/ splines serrations on the component.)

Average cycle time being approximately 5 seconds the productivity is very high compared to conventional rolling process.
