Impulse Current Test System can be used with testing varistors, GDT, lightning rod, SPD and various other lightning protection apparatuses. This test system comprises of HV charging unit, central spark gap, Impulse current generator, Housing of test object, automatic control and automatic earthing system, and measurement systems. There is automatic polarity change and its control is based on a logic controller module. The impulse capacitors that are used in this system have very low inductance, high quality, and long service life.
