The graphite mould is used in continuous casting of copper, platinum, gold, silver, other non-
ferrous metals, steel, stainless steel, etc. It has good thermal conductivity, self-lubricating in
high temperature, wear resistance, good oxidation resistance and high mechanical strength.
The graphite mould can be divided into horizontal continuous casting mould or vertical cont inuous casting mold. By the cast materials it is divided into: 1.
