Guaiphenesin Tablets

COMPOSITION:

Each uncoated tablet contains:

Guaiphenesin I.P. 200
mg .

PROPERTIES:

MECHANISM
OF ACTION:

Guaifenesin has been promoted
as a cervical mucus thinner. It thins cervical mucus and there by helps
sperm travel to the egg for fertilization.

INDICATIONS
:

- Infection
- Damage caused on the cervix by surgery
- Clomifene Citrate therapy

DOSAGE:

200 mg two or three times a day starting from about
five days before expected ovulation and continuing
through ovulation day.
For those with irregular cycles, start therapy five days
before the earliest day ovulation might be expected.
For those taking Clomifene citrate (REJUN), start
therapy after the last Clomifene pill..

SIDE EFFECTS (Orally) :

Mild to Moderate Side Effects seen, which are selflimiting:
Diarrhoea, Drowsiness, Nausea or Vomiting &
Stomach pain. Abdominal cramps rarely.
