DRUG LAYERING : Glimepiride granules can be made by Drug layering method by a suitable drug layering equipment Made by UMANG PHARMATECH, The powder is sprinkled from one side in a drug layering machine and liquid from the other side.

Glimepiride is a medium-to-long acting sulfonylurea anti-diabetic drug.

Glimepiride is the first third-generation sulfonylurea, and is very potent.

It is sometimes classified as third-generation, and sometimes classified as second-generation.
