These new gearless drive systems by GEM, synchronous motors with permanent magnets with internal rotor, specially designed for use in elevators. Each HWGLS model has been optimized to achieve high efficiency for saving of energy consumption & with high performance traction system for passengers exceptional comfort. The use of the most modern methods of calculation with FEM (Finite Elements Method), has allowed to optimize the electromagnetic sizing with thermal & mechanic design of the motor.
