Free Fall type Bump Test Machine has a robust steel structure, this Free Fall Type Bump Test Machine can be used for testing of test objects having weight from 50 Kg to 1000 Kg, with Acceleration from 3 "g" to 60 "g" & pulse duration from 3 ms to 18 ms. The Free Fall Type Bump Test Machine is intended to reproduce the effects of repetitive bumps 60 to 180 bumps per minute likely to be experienced by components and equipment during transportation or when installed in various classes of vehicles. The Free Fall Type Bump Test Machine is mounted on air springs to isolate from the ground so that no vibration passes to the building.

The mounting platform is lifted vertically through a Cam arrangement and is made to drop freely on the rubber pad placed on the anvil which provides the required acceleration level. The desired impact acceleration can be obtained by adjusting the free fall height of the mounting platform. Rubber pads are used to produce half-sine pulses, duration of pulse can be adjusted by changing the hardness and thickness of the rubber pads.
