Refractory High-Temperature Adhesive

Product Description

Refractory adhesive is made from a composite of various inorganic adhesives and refractory additives. It can be used for bonding operations between refractory fiber products and materials such as steel, wood, and insulation bricks.

This product is suitable for aluminosilicate fiber products such as aluminosilicate fiber blankets and aluminosilicate fiber felts, as well as construction bonding scenarios for high-temperature kiln refractory bricks.

The product is compatible with various bonding substrates and can achieve bonding and fixing of aluminosilicate fiber products with various different materials.

The product has a simple construction method. Use a scraper to evenly apply the adhesive on the surface of the aluminosilicate product, fit it with the bonding substrate, and apply external force to press and fit to complete bonding. The conventional coating thickness is controlled at 0.5mm-1mm. Under room-temperature environment, the bonding solidification time is less than 24 hours.

The product has a refractory temperature of 1100C and, after drying, can achieve Class A1 combustion performance.

Working Condition Suitability and Restrictions

This product is suitable for dry high-temperature equipment and kiln thermal insulation bonding conditions. 1100C is the short-term tolerance temperature of the product. Continuous high-temperature conditions require prior working condition suitability testing.

The product is not suitable for conditions involving long-term water immersion, strong acid or alkali corrosion, high-frequency vibration, or high-speed erosion. Such conditions will reduce bonding stability and lead to detachment failure.

Usage Precautions

1. Before construction, clean dust, oil stains, and impurities on the surface of the bonding substrate, keeping the bonding surface dry and clean to ensure bonding effectiveness.

2. Apply strictly according to standard thickness. Too thick or too thin coating will affect bonding strength and high-temperature resistance.

3. Product solidification and curing must be carried out in a room-temperature ventilated environment. Avoid touching or vibrating the bonded components during curing.
