Product Description

Ceramic fiber yarn uses aluminosilicate fiber as the main raw material and is manufactured through spinning and winding processes. According to use temperature and working conditions, fiberglass or stainless steel wire of types 304, 310, 316, etc. can be added as reinforcement material. Fiberglass-reinforced models have a continuous use temperature of 650C; stainless steel wire-reinforced models have a continuous use temperature of 1000C. The product has a short-term tolerance temperature up to 1260C. The product can resist splash erosion from molten metals such as aluminum and zinc.

Application Scope

Used for processing and manufacturing refractory thermal insulation sealing products such as ceramic fiber packing, ceramic fiber cloth, ceramic fiber tape, ceramic fiber twisted rope, and ceramic fiber sleeves.

Working Condition Suitability and Restrictions

Different reinforcement materials of this product correspond to different continuous use temperatures. 1260C is only the short-term tolerance temperature; long-term over-temperature operation is prohibited. The product can only withstand short-term splashing of molten aluminum and zinc, and cannot withstand continuous erosion or immersion by molten metal.

The product is suitable for dry static raw material processing and high-temperature product weaving conditions. It is not suitable for conditions involving strong acid or alkali corrosion, long-term liquid immersion, high-speed medium erosion, or high-frequency severe friction.

Usage Precautions

1. Cutting, processing, spinning, and weaving of ceramic fiber material generate fiber dust. Maintain ventilation during operation, wear dust-proof protective equipment, and dispose of waste in accordance with local environmental regulations.

2. The product contains a small amount of organic fiber. Finished products woven from this material may produce carbonization and smoking during initial high-temperature use, which is a normal process characteristic and does not affect the performance of the finished product.

3. Use temperature should be matched according to reinforcement material. Over-temperature and over-working-condition processing and use are strictly prohibited.
