We offer clients extruder gearboxes with in built thrust housing ranging from 1HP to 150HP capacity. Finding special usage in plastic industry, these gearboxes feature hardened & ground gears in double reduction, parallel shafts, horizontal models. These meet the characteristic requirement & condition commonly encountered in single screw extrusion process.

Features of Extruder Gear Box:
Gear units are capable of:
* Transmitting high torque required for pressuring & plasticizing moulding materials
* Absorbing high axial thrust loads through built-in spherical roller thrust bearing

The axial bearing housing integral with the main case is standardized to:
* Accommodate suitable thrust bearing & corresponding output shafts

Specifications:
* All gear teeth are made with proper profile correction using computer aide techniques to improve transmission capacity & efficiency
* Gears are heat treated in modern sealed quenched furnaces
* These are subsequently flank ground to precision grade for ensuring high standard of accuracy, long service life, quiet running characteristics & low noise
