Expansion Construction Joints

The Expansion Construction Joint are essential component in RCC hydraulic structures and can be used in expansion and contraction joints, construction joints, for the crumple sections (to with stand Seismic forces) and for settlement joints. Our organization is engaged in offering different types of Expansion Construction Joints such as kicker type, dumb- bell type, ribbed type and replaceable type. Our range is available in range of 100 mm width to 400mm width.

The various types of Expansion Construction Joints include:
Kicker Type
These are externally placed type of PVC water stop that are used where embedded types can not be used because of the interference of steel reinforcement.

Dumb-Bell Type
In Dumb-Bell Type the PVC water stop is provided with solid circular bulb either side. These are used where large movement due to expansion and contraction is expected. Further, these are also used for settlement joints and crumple sections.

Ribbed Type
The Ribbed type is multi purpose and the general type of PVC water stop has ribs on surface that ensure water tightness. These are used for expansion, contraction and construction joints.

Replaceable Type
These are specially developed design PVC water stop by Ganga Modernisation Authority Roorkee (U.P.) that find application in various industries.
