Excel Active Dessiccant

Excel Active Dessiccant is non-metallic mineral. Special grade of Diatomaceous earth and bentonite selected and developed to give greater water vapor absorption.

Diatomaceous earth is a remarkable all natural products made from tiny fossilized water plants. Diatomaceous earth is a superior granular absorbent. It represents the accumulation of thousands of fossil diatoms. It has been called a miraculous mineral because of its lightness and porosity which allows it to absorb nearly its own weight in water.

The moisture abruption capacity of "Excel-Active" is much higher than Silica Gel. It can absorb 45% of its own weight. It is free from -DMF-Dimethyl Fumarate. "Excel-Active " are made from Diatomaceous which has a special affinity for moisture and are least expensive desiccant. Its appearance is that of small off white / yellowish powder /granules.

"Excel-Active" can be used safely to maintain dry atmosphere in Pharma, Food Products, Engineering, leather, Electrical and Electronic Products.
