Built with galvanised steel and the touch of epoxy based powder coating, the structure is rigid enough to withstand extreme testing conditions. The test space is made of 10 mm stainless steel (grade AISI-304), which is TIG welded and reinforced to withstand the pressure changes. It also has adjustable shelves and an entry port to conduct live testing on the specimen. TEFC motor with vacuum feedthrough is used with an axial flow fan to maintain a smooth laminar air flow across the test space. To avoid condensation during low temperature cycles, heaters are provided along with dual silicone extruded gaskets in the test space frame.
