Detuned pf correction panel solution have been designed for reactive power compensation purposes in networks with a high content of harmonics and where there is a risk of resonance.Specially designed Detuned Harmonic Filter Panel, is used for power factor modification in systems where harmonics are produced by nonlinear loads, every footstep of detuned filters comprised of a capacitor and a sequence reactor linked in series. The assortment of our panel consumes less power and is used to produce nonlinear loads. The panel is comprised of a series reactor and a capacitor associated in sequence and makes a series resonant circuit. This panel provides trouble free function and assists to offset the resonance effect. Capacitor banks do not generate harmonics but they are elements that are highly sensitive to the presence of harmonics.Capacitors are receivers that can cause harmonic resonance, amplifying the levels of harmonics.
