Destoner Vacuum Type
Our vacuum de-stoner is ideal for faster and finer separation and based on flowing dry granular material over an inclined, vibrating, screen covered deck. Vacuum air is pulled through the deck, and through the bed of material. The steady air flow holds the product in stratified flotation. The lighter material in the upper strata flows down the inclined vibrating deck whereas heavier material such as stones, glass and metal travel uphill and out. The product flows downhill at the discharge end of the deck. The bottom portion of the bed consists of gravity pure, finished product that often needs no further refinement.
