1. Contactor and Overload Relay
All these components are for starting and stopping the motor. When motor draws more than its name plate current the overload relay stops the motor. Overload relay is to be reset for re-starting.

2. Single Phasing Preventor
SPP stops the motor when one fuse out of the three fuses blows off or when there is more than 10% voltage imbalance in the system. The motor does not burn due to single phasing because of the positive action of the SPP.

3. Water Level Guard
Submersible pump must remain submerged in the water. Otherwise motor will burn. WLG stops the pump motor when the water level goes down.

4. On-Off Main MCB
This is required to switch off power going from the main MCB to other devices in control panel. This gives protection to the motor and cable against short circuit.

5. Selector Switch for Voltmeter
By putting this switch on different position voltage between R-Y, Y-B, B-R can be measured.

6. Push Buttons
Push buttons are provided to start and stop the pumpset.

7. Pilot Lamp
To ensure that the three phases are alright or not.

8. Indicating Lamp for SPP & WLG
The LED will glow only when voltage of three phases are balanced and there is sufficient water level in the borewell.

9. Toggle Switch for SPP & WLG
In normal condition this switch should be kept in WORKING position. It should be kept in BYPASS position in case the SPP & WLG goes out-of-order.
