Design:
* These coal fired boilers are based on three pass, wetback design
* Particular attention paid to furnace length, smoke tube diameters and projections as well as method of tube fitting into wetback combustion chamber tube plate

* Construction:
* All boilers are manufactured to Class I standards in accordance with latest requirements of the IBR

Brickwork:
* The only brickwork required is small amount to form bridge at the rear end of the stoker stationary grate
* This considerably reduces installation & maintenance costs when compared with dry back or semi-wet back boilers
