Salient Features of Clinker Grinder :-
* Our Clinker Grinders are designed with an integral drive shaft arrangement which have lot of advantages compared to the conventional drive i.e. chain and sprocket type. This eliminates heavy wear & tear and breakages involved with chain & Sprockets.
* Manganese steel rolls are of work hardening property. The characteristic of this material is such that hardness increases with a period of operation and it can cater to hard clinkers, to crush down to the size which can be pumped/sluiced easily.
* The drive to driven roll is through a set of totally enclosed sealed body timing gears made out of EN-8/9 steel material thus ensuring longer life of the gears.
* Head shaft bearings are located outside the conveyor assembly in completely sealed bearing blocks thereby ensuring that no ash ever enters and damage the same.
* The bearing block assembly and the bearing can be removed as one assembly thus reducing the breakdown time and maintenance is very easy.
* The bearings are fitted on the taper sleeves which save the shaft from damages while replacement and fixing.
* M.S. fabricated guards are provided to prevent water/ash from infiltrating into bearing areas.
* The shaft sleeves are keyed on to the main shaft for firm grip and protection of the shaft due to loose sleeves, which normally occur when grub screws are provided.
