Cinnamon (Dalchini) is obtained from the inner bark of trees that belongs to Cinnamomum genus. This spice is utilized as an aromatic condiment in numerous cuisines. It contains cinnamaldehyde essential oil which gives it flavor & aroma. Cinnamon is known to have great amount of carbohydrate, dietary fibers, and calcium. It is comprised of excellent quantities of polyphenols providing it good antioxidant properties. Dalchini can fight infections & aid in tissue damage repair.
