Gahir Centreless Grinder is designed for both through feed and in feed grinding and suitable for 1.5 mm to 75m dia.This machine can be used to grind components of ferrous and non-ferrous materials as well as other material like glass, rubber and plastic using suitable grinding and regulating wheels. Bed is designed with emphasis laid on higher rigidity and stability of machine.
The structure of machine minimizes thermal deformations. Slide ways are designed as wide as possible. Passage of coolant flow is designed in the bed is such a way that it keeps the machine neat & clean. Precision bearing are used in grinding wheel & regulating wheel. Grinding wheel assembly is balanced to minimize vibrations. All Spindles, worms & lead screws are hardened and ground. The layout of Controls has been designed in such a way that operator can perform all operations from his working place.
