Features:

The casing cutter has threads at the top for connecting to the drill rod coupling. Pump pressure forces the plunger down which in turn forces the cutter out to contact with the casing. As the casing cutter rotates, the cutter works much the same as a cutting bit on a machine lathe. Place the casing in tensions, when the casing has been cut through, the pump is stopped and the spring loaded plunger and cutter return to position to allow withdrawal of the casing cutter from the hole. The upper portion of the casing may then be recovered.

The adjustable screw at the bottom of the casing cutter sets the travel of the cutter. A jam nut prevents unwanted movement of the screw.

The casing cutter can be furnished with either W group or old series rod connections.
